Adhesives Research

Scott Knorr has been appointed vice president and general manager of Adhesives Research, Inc.’s Adhesives Research division. Mr. Knorr will oversee global sales as well as R&D efforts for the company’s pharmaceutical, medical, electronics, splicing and engineered tapes businesses.

Mr. Knorr has been with the company for 13 years. He joined the company as a process engineer in the medical/pharmaceutical operations group before joining the sales team in 2002. He was named business manager for the pharmaceutical business unit in 2005 and later was promoted to his most recent position of medical business manager, overseeing the company’s global business activities as a component supplier to the medical device, diagnostic and wound care industries. Prior to joining the company, Mr. Knorr held engineering positions with ICI, a manufacturer of nitroglycerine formulations for transdermal patches, and Gemark, a polyester recycling firm.
